Ongoing research

In collaboration with UCSD and the engineering department at UM, this project focuses on the adoption of advanced technologies in cyber manufacturing ecosystems and to identify the challenges and best practices in business strategy and workforce development.
š Perceptions and experiences with career content (August 2025-present)
Career messages can socialize people into the working world by communicating career-related norms and expectations. As part of my dissertation research, I am exploring young adultsā perceptions and experiences with online career messages using a think-aloud protocol.
š Career messages in social media (Nov 2024-present)
How people discuss their careers on social media can contribute to broader societal narratives and perceptions around the working world. As part of my dissertation research, I am examining the potential career messages and narratives that are displayed in social media content.
